Description

One of the things we recommend most to DIY-ers is to plan through the FINISH LINE of your conversion van build. For us, this included countless sketchup diagrams of our layout. Here you can purchase our *finalized* diagram for our second conversion van. The download includes 2 files. The first is a diagram with just the extruded aluminum bones so you can measure / adjust the components to see what pieces you will need. The second adds on the finishing touches like cabinet faces, counter tops, etc so you can see how it comes together. The second one uses SketchUp tags so you can toggle pieces on and off as well. In addition to the two files, we include a description on how to use these files.

How To Use

The files you will download are .skp files which are for SketchUp. You can upload these and use the app for free at app.sketchup.com. This is a great starter video to learn how to use the app. Within the download, there is a PDF guide to uploading the files to the desktop app.

Additional Notes

Disclaimer: These diagrams are for a Ford Transit EXT High Roof; however, can be easily adjusted for any chassis by finding your base chassis in the SketchUp library and building off the components in our diagram. You could also simply “pen and paper” it with ours as inspiration. We did this for our first conversion van!
